An online appointment request or booking is subject to availability. Where an appointment requires confirmation by Bonita, the appointment is not considered confirmed until confirmation has been provided.

We reserve the right to contact you if a selected appointment time is unavailable or if we need to discuss the service required.

You should ensure that you select the correct treatment or service when making an appointment. If you are unsure which service is appropriate, please contact us before booking.

Some treatments may require a consultation, patch test, health questionnaire or other suitability assessment before the treatment can be provided.

5. Arriving for appointments

Please arrive in sufficient time for your appointment.

Arriving late may reduce the time available for your treatment, particularly where another client’s appointment follows yours. Where a treatment cannot reasonably be completed because of lateness, we may need to shorten or reschedule the appointment and the relevant cancellation or appointment charge may apply.

We will always endeavour to be reasonable and take the circumstances into account.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment.

Our normal cancellation policy is:

• At least 24 hours’ notice should be given to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Appointments lasting two hours or more require at least 48 hours’ notice.
• Where an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than the required notice and we are unable to fill the appointment time, a charge of 50% of the full treatment value may be made.
• Missed appointments may be charged at the full treatment price.

These charges reflect the fact that appointment time is reserved specifically for you and may not be possible to reallocate at short notice.

We may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Where an appointment has been cancelled by Bonita Hair & Beauty, you will not be charged for that appointment.

7. Consultations, patch tests and treatment suitability

Certain hair and beauty treatments may require a consultation or patch test before treatment.

Where a consultation, patch test or other assessment is required, the treatment may not be carried out if the required assessment has not been completed or if the treatment is considered unsuitable.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to your treatment, including information about allergies, sensitivities, medications, previous treatments or other circumstances that may affect the suitability or safety of a treatment.

If your circumstances change between appointments, please inform us before treatment.

Our team may decline to provide a treatment where we reasonably believe that doing so would be unsafe or inappropriate.

8. Treatment results

We aim to provide professional advice and high-quality treatments.

However, hair and beauty treatments can produce different results depending on factors including an individual’s hair, skin, previous treatments, condition, lifestyle and aftercare.

We cannot guarantee a particular result where the outcome depends on factors outside our reasonable control.

Our advice is based on the information available to us and is not intended to replace medical advice. If you have a medical condition or concern that may affect the suitability of a treatment, you should seek appropriate professional medical advice.

9. Prices

Prices displayed on the website are intended to be accurate at the time of publication.

Treatment prices may vary depending on the service provided, the time required, the length or condition of hair, additional products or services required, or other circumstances discussed during consultation.

Where an additional charge is likely to apply, we will endeavour to discuss this with you before proceeding.

We reserve the right to change prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an order or appointment that has already been confirmed, unless the change is agreed with you.

10. Online shop

Our website allows customers to purchase selected products online.

Product descriptions, photographs and prices are provided to help you make an informed purchasing decision. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information is accurate, but manufacturers may change packaging, specifications or product formulations from time to time.

Product images may also vary slightly from the actual product.

All online orders are subject to product availability.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

13. Click-and-collect

Products purchased through the online shop are currently offered for click-and-collect from Bonita Hair & Beauty at the Hotel de France, St Helier.

We will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Please do not attend to collect an order until you have received confirmation that it is ready.

Collection arrangements and opening hours may change, so please follow the collection information provided with your order.

If you are unable to collect your order within a reasonable period, please contact us to make alternative arrangements.

14. Payment

Payment for online orders must be made using the payment methods made available through the website.

Payment information may be processed by an independent payment service provider. Bonita Hair & Beauty does not intend to store complete payment card details on its own systems.
